This middle aged female underwent a laparoscopic gastric bypass with a greater then 200 pound weight loss. Her pre-operative weight was over 500 pounds and unfortunately the massive weight loss left her with an enormous abdominal pannus. This pannus (apron) severely limited her ability to walk or exercise. She underwent a panniculectomy with removal of 52 pounds of abdominal tissue. Following the surgery she can now walk and has continued to lose weight down to ~ 220 pounds.

| This thin female underwent a combined procedure of liposuction of the abdomen, waist, and hips along with an abdominoplasty (high lateral tension). The small incision seen just below the umbilicus is the location of the old belly button. Because this patient is long waisted and has minimal excess skin below the umbilicus, complete removal of the old umbilical incision is not possible. |
