Dr. Kurtis Martin and his warm and welcoming staff are dedicated to making your experience at our Cincinnati plastic surgery practice as rewarding and beneficial as possible. Our unique patient education suite provides each patient access to a video library, informative brochures and literature, and advanced computerized imaging technology.
When you visit the Kurtis W. Martin Plastic Surgery Center, you get more than just a skilled plastic surgeon. Our Cincinnati practice keeps a Patient Educator on staff to advise patients during the entire patient process. Information about preparing for any procedure, as well as the follow-up expectations, are addressed and conveyed to Dr. Martin when appropriate.

Kurtis W. Martin, MD is a highly trained and Board Certified plastic surgeon serving Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky for over a decade. Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Martin offers 16 years of extensive training to his patients.
Dr. Martin earned a BS in Biology and completed medical school at the University of Kentucky. A five year residency in General Surgery plus one year of research in plastic and vascular surgery was completed at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. To complete his training, a plastic surgery residency was obtained at the University of Cincinnati Department of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Martin also completed a plastic surgery fellowship at the offices of world class plastic surgeons Baker, Gordon, and Baker in Miami, Florida.
He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Martin also holds memberships in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. During his training, he received a national research award at Harvard and scored in the top one percent in the nation on his plastic surgery in-service boards.
Dr. Martin has served as the official team plastic surgeon for Cincinnati’s professional hockey team “The Mighty Ducks” and will continue to serve with the new hockey team “The Cincinnati RailRaiders”. Dr. Martin has also hosted the popular radio talk show "The Cosmetic Surgery Hour" on 55 KRC (550 AM).
To assure the highest level of skill and knowledge and to stay on the cutting edge of medical technology, Dr. Martin constantly reviews the literature, investigates the newest techniques, and attends plastic surgery meetings throughout the year. He also teaches residents in aesthetic plastic surgery and contributes articles to different publications. Dr. Martin recently became recertified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and therefore will not have to recertify until the year 2016.
Dr. Kurtis Martin employs very capable and qualified staff personnel to reflect the high quality of his Cincinnati plastic surgery practice. Two full time front desk personnel, including the office manager, attend to the phones addressing patient calls. Two surgical assistants help patients during all procedures in the office, and a masters prepared registered nurse serves as a patient educator/advisor and the Skin Care Specialist. Another registered nurse performs permanent makeup procedures in our beautiful Centerville location.
